Akai lpk25 midi
I read some of the reviews before I purchased this product and I can't understand why anyone would give it less that 4 stars at least. It fits into the front pocket on my laptop case so is really easy to carry around. If you buy it and register it with Akai then you can get some free keyboard tutorial software. It comes with set-up program on CD if you want to program the Arppeggiator, sustain and octave buttons to behave in a certain way. I use it with the SuperSonico 5 stand-alone VST synth and it's just brilliant.ģ. It's plug and play, works a like a dream with Windows 10. There are plenty FREE to download on the internet.Ģ.

It's designed to work with Virtual Studio Tech (VST) and Digital Audio workstations (DAW) or midi software (Anvil Studio for example). It does not produce any sound on its own. So here are some facts about this keyboard.ġ. This really is a great piece of kit and dead easy to set-up. The biggest downside was that the 'tap tempo' light blinked constantly in a glaring red which is a pain if you're working / studying rather than clubbing. It's compact and light enough, great size for a backpack, although the keys felt a little too plastic for me (keeps it light I guess) and the key springs were too firm for my liking too.

Waited over a week for prime's 'next day' delivery and then wasted hours trying to work out why it wouldn't work, and only after reading the very last line on the manufacturers product page did I find out why. Even now, knowing that it's doesn't work on PC, I see that the messy product description buried half way is confusing and doesn't clearly state that the wireless feature will not work on a PC.

Suitable for iOS, Mac and PC Applications ". THIS IS NOT CLEAR AT ALL IN THE DESCRIPTION which actively misleads by stating that this is "Wireless Bluetooth-Enabled … MIDI Keyboard. The bluetooth pairs on PC, but the MIDI isn't recognised. So pee'd off to discover that the wireless feature doesn't work on PC devices.
